The coke oven door, furnace frame and protective plate are the main equipment of the coke oven carbonization chamber. Our company uses vermicular graphite cast iron(RUT350) as the material.

The tensile strength, yield strength and elongation of compacted graphite cast iron are much higher than those of grey cast iron and low chromium heat-resistant cast iron, and it has excellent heat fatigue resistance. After years of use, it has been affirmed and recognized by users.

Chromium-containing heat-resistant cast iron can only withstand heat up to 550°C, while vermicular graphite cast iron can work under alternating heat loads of 100-800°C, which fully proves that vermicular graphite cast iron is a very suitable material for manufacturing coke oven protection equipment.

LMM coke oven door mainly has the following advantages:

  1. The service life of the sealing edge web (the main wearing part of the coke oven door) is improved (can be increased by more than 50%), and the cost of spare parts is reduced.
  2. Improved sealing of coke oven door.
  3. Easy inspection and adjustment, convenient for daily maintenance.
  4. It ensures that the Coke oven door is parallel to the Coke oven door frame, avoids collision between the Coke oven door and the door frame during use, and improves stability during opening and closing.
